In 2007, Ms. Bradley was a district winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council competition as well as a participant in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition in Vienna, Austria.
Ms. Bradley studied German Lied under the direction of Norman Shetler at the 2006 Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria. In addition, Ms. Bradley spent the summer of 2004 in Vietri sul mare, Italy, at the Amalfi Music Festival singing La Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro and numerous concerts around the Amalfi region.
An avid performer of new music, Ms. Bradley made her Weill Hall (Carnegie Hall) debut in a joint concert in May, 2004, featuring a Requiem for Soprano, Piano and Cello. Barry L. Cohen of New Music Connoisseur remarked “Lauren Bradley, a soprano with impressive credentials, did not disappoint….this reviewer became convinced he could listen to her all night long. In fact, I would drop everything to hear her in a solo concert.”
Additionally, Ms. Bradley was a featured soloist with the Clarion Music Society in 2007 at Weill Hall and was reviewed by David Moore of American Record Guide: "Lauren Bradley's expressive soprano,… were especially impressive."
Ms. Bradley will be singing the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos with One World Symphony in June, 2008. She is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory’s Opera program.
